SUMMARY:Fall Festival 2023
DESCRIPTION:Back after a 3 year hiatus!  Fall Fest is a community event that offers a family-friendly environment for children with special needs and their families.   Kids and their families are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes and decorate their wheelchair or other mobility device and trick or treat in the accessible indoor “neighborhood”.  There are also games\, a quiet sensory room\, music\, outdoor pumpkin patch\, therapy dogs\, fun photo opportunities and visits with local police and swat team.   This event is co-sponsored by Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters and the City of Chesapeake Parks and Recreation.  C.A.T.S. is sponsoring one of the “houses” in the trick or treat neighborhood.  Hope to see you there!
