DESCRIPTION:At Children’s Assistive Technology Service (C.A.T.S.)\, we believe that every child deserves a voice and the opportunity to reach their full potential. We provide refurbished adaptive and communication devices to children with physical\, neurological\, and developmental disabilities\, completely free of charge to families. With these assistive technologies\, children can have better health\, communicate with loved one and friends\, explore their world\, and build independence. \nC.A.T.S. relies on the amazing support and help of our volunteers to get the pieces of donated equipment\, scrubbed\, cleaned\, sanitized\, and ready for another deserving child to have the opportunity to thrive.  Our volunteers include everyone from college students\, retirees\, and other volunteer groups and organizations in the community. DESCRIPTION:C.A.T.S. Richmond will be hosting an Equipment Scrub at their location\, 2545 Gayton Centre Drive\, on June 15th from 9am – 1pm \nWe have a large portion of our facility FULL of new donations from kids who have outgrown items\, and lots of children who need them next. The hard work of volunteers\, college students\, community groups and civic organizations helping clean the equipment has made this program successful.
