Education & Training

Missy received her bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical therapy from Temple university in 1990 and completed her Transitional Doctorate from Arcadia university in August 2018.

Missy started her career at Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters and had the opportunity to work in multiple treatment environments including outpatients, inpatients, NICU, PICU, rehabilitation unit, and Home Health. Missy currently works at Select Kids mainly treating infants and toddlers in the Early Intervention Setting along with some outpatient clients that have various neurological issues. Missy’s intensive continuing education background includes the Neuro Developmental Treatment Association’s (NDTA) Bobath Eight Week Pediatric Course in the Treatment of Children with Cerebral Palsy Neuro-developmental treatment Approach and the Advanced Three week NDtA Baby Course.

Missy has presented many continuing education workshops and is an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University. Missy is also an Infant and Toddler Specialist, assisting in training daycare providers and early educators to renew their licensure.
