A lifelong Norfolk resident, Michael has built his career at the intersection of music, entrepreneurship, and community service. Whether behind the scenes or center stage, his work has consistently focused on one thing: bringing people together for something bigger than themselves.

Michael is the creative force behind large-scale community events like the StarFire Festival and the Colley Avenue Music and Arts Festival—celebrations that unite art, live music, and local culture while raising thousands of dollars for charities right here in Hampton Roads. These events don’t just entertain; they strengthen the community fabric and support organizations making a difference.

Beyond music, Michael’s commitment to the region runs deep. He is actively involved in Hampton Roads’ business and civic life through his commercial real estate brokerage, leadership roles with professional organizations like tHRive and the Downtown 100, and his work with his family business, Colley Executive Offices—a private office facility that proudly serves as the Norfolk home of Children’s Assistive Technology Service (C.A.T.S.).

“Every day I am proud to have C.A.T.S. operating out of our facility in Norfolk,” Michael shares. “The way entire families’ lives are instantly changed by their work is something that I think about all the time.”

C.A.T.S. provides refurbished assistive technology to children with disabilities at no cost to families—helping kids gain mobility, communication, independence, and opportunity when insurance delays, denials, or financial barriers stand in the way. Seeing this impact firsthand has inspired Michael to take his passion for music and community connection to a new level.

That inspiration comes to life on February 14th at 8:00 PM at The NORVA, where Michael is teaming up with C.A.T.S. for an unforgettable night of music, movement, and purpose.

🎶 The Cosmic Anime Rave is more than a concert—it’s a costume-fueled celebration of creativity, dance, and community. Fans are invited to dress up, light up the dancefloor, and come together for a vibrant night of electronic and pop-infused sounds—all while raising awareness and support for children and families who rely on assistive technology to live fuller, more independent lives.

Michael will be performing with his group TIARA & His Precious Gemstones, a pop collective known for transforming the dancefloor into something cinematic—where music, energy, and emotion collide.
