C.A.T.S. Receives Nomination for a disAbility Impact Award

The Disability Law Center of Virginia and the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) announced that Children’s Assistive Technology Service (CATS) has been nominated for a disAbility Impact Award.   CATS was nominated for its efforts during the pandemic. Despite the pandemic obstacles and changes in the process, CATS was able to serve 793 children providing them with 1,011 pieces of equipment in 2020. The value of the equipment made available is over $1.1 million.   We are honored to receive this nomination!   The award ceremony is virtual and you can register for free:
