CATS celebrates 5 years!

Children’s Assistive Technology Service celebrated its 5th birthday yesterday evening at the home of founder and CEO Cathie Cummins and her husband Randy. In attendance were members of the Smith Mountain Lake community (Lions Club, Antique Boat Club, Civitans, neighbors, and friends) who have provided financial baking along with volunteers who repair, promote, transport, and deliver equipment to children across Virginia.

Over the past 5 years several hundred children have received much needed equipment when it has not been available through other avenues. CATS sincerely thanks all who have made its success possible over the past 5 years and ask that you continue to support us as we look forward to serving the Commonwealth in the future. The need is great.
