Welcoming Our Newest Board Members
There’s something truly special about coming together as a team, especially when that team shares a common passion and purpose. Last Saturday, on May 18th, members of the Children’s Assistive Technology Service (C.A.T.S.) team and board gathered in Richmond, Virginia, for a memorable occasion. It was a time to connect, share ideas, and extend a warm welcome to our newest members: Robbie Wirth and Dan Raper!
Alongside current board members, Laura Alexander, Charles Dillard, Lonnie Snyder, Bill Mirenda, and some members of the C.A.T.S. team, the energy in the room was palpable as we gathered to celebrate this exciting milestone. With each new addition to our board, we strengthen our commitment to serving children with disabilities across Virginia. Robbie and Dan bring unique perspectives, skills, and dedication to our mission, and we’re thrilled to have them on board.
At C.A.T.S., our mission is clear: to provide refurbished pediatric assistive technology at no cost to families in need. It’s a cause that resonates deeply with all of us, knowing that every device we distribute has the power to transform a child’s life. Whether it’s a communication device, mobility aid, or sensory tool, these technologies open doors and create opportunities that were once thought impossible.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for this special gathering. Your support and enthusiasm fuel our work and inspire us to do more. Together, we’re not just a team – we’re a family, united in our dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of children with disabilities.
To Robbie and Dan: welcome to the C.A.T.S. family! We’re excited to embark on this journey together, knowing that with your expertise and passion, we’ll reach even greater heights. Your contributions will undoubtedly help us expand our reach, serve more children, and spread more smiles.
As we move forward, let’s continue to uphold the values that define us: every single child deserves to have the opportunity to succeed and thrive. Let’s keep working tirelessly to make a difference, one device, and one child at a time. Together, we have the power to change lives and build a more inclusive world.
Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. With your support, we can make a world of difference for children with disabilities across Virginia and beyond. Here’s to a future filled with hope, possibility, and endless opportunities. Together, we can achieve anything!
