C.A.T.S Executive Director Search Announcement

Due to the planned retirement of our Executive Director later this year or early next, we are seeking applicants for the next Executive Director to lead our organization into a future which will allow increased access to durable medical equipment to children and families who need it, when they need it to acquire next step of development, participate in family activities, and not only survive but thrive.
The successful candidate for this position is expected to have broad leadership skills for a non-profit organization which include: strong outreach and speaking skills to build and maintain a strong public presence of C.A.T.S. across the commonwealth; fundraising skills to build the level of donations and grants needed to sustain and enable our program initiatives; organizational skills to provide direction, supervision and support to our paid and volunteer work force; operational skills to keep the basic processes that support the work of the organization operating efficiently and in compliance with all governing regulations.
Our preferred candidate has personal or professional experience in working with the pediatric population or those with physical disabilities.
Over the past 6 years the Executive Director has been a volunteer position held by the C.A.T.S. founder. As our vision and service area have grown, the responsibilities taken on and the time devoted to the organization by the ED have grown. We believe that the combination of the salary and the opportunity to have a substantial impact on the children and families we serve will be highly attractive to the right candidate.   To send a cover letter and a resume, please contact:  Laura Alexander, Board Chair at [email protected]     See below for the job description:
