Start with one message, then advance to using two messages, then four messages, and so on. As communication skills develop, move up to our 16-window grid. Great for those who are non-verbal including people on the autism spectrum. This seven-level communicator offers the capacity to record up to 112 messages with a total recording time of 300 seconds. Re-recording is required when you change window frames. Frame size is 8½” x 7″.

The request for the device must be made with the child’s speech therapist and a loan agreement must be signed. There is no transfer of these items between CATS locations. Devices in Hampton Roads inventory are only available in Hampton Roads. Funding for this program in Hampton Roads by Kiwanis of Chesapeake, the Hampton Roads Community Foundation and the Millers Foundation.

The request for the device must be made with the child’s speech therapist and a loan agreement must be signed. There is no transfer of these items between CATS locations. Devices in Roanoke inventory are only available in cities of Roanoke, Salem, Lynchburg and 12 surrounding counties including: Botetourt, Craig, Floyd, Franklin, Henry, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Amherst, Bedford, Campbell, Appomattox, and Rockbridge.
Funding for this program in Roanoke provided is by the Roanoke Women’s Foundation, in collaboration with the Community Foundation of Western VA, and Franklin County Disability Rights and Resources.
