It\’s National Volunteer Week so we want to give a very grateful shout out to all the CATS volunteers that keep the program going! They pick up donated equipment, transport equipment between locations, clean and refurbish equipment and modify GoBabyGo cars! Without them, CATS would not be able to serve children with disabilities throughout Virginia!

Donations of equipment are not being accepted until after June 10th.
Though we have reduced staff hours, we are still making requested equipment available on a case by case basis, at our three primary locations in the Roanoke Valley, Greater Richmond and Hampton Roads.
While young people everywhere are moving on up and graduating, we wanted to let everyone know that CATS made the honor roll, too! CATS received the Guidestar Platinum Seal of Transparency for 2020 and was also recently recognized as a 2020 top-rated non-profit by Great NonProfits.
The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation has given Children\’s Assistive Technology Service $9000 to support the Pass It On Project in Bedford, Amherst, Appomattox and Campbell Counties, as well as the city of Lynchburg. We are so grateful for their support of our mission!
