“Chartway Promise Foundation strengthens the communities we serve by partnering with companion charities like Children’s Assistive Technology Service to provide the financial support needed to support medically fragile children and their families,” said Chartway Promise Foundation president, Christine Wilson. “That’s why we’re honored to make a difference right here in Hampton Roads – bringing joy, hope, and smiles to children through this partnership.”

Children’s Assistive Technology Service helps children with physical, neurological, and developmental disabilities have better health outcomes; participate in school and community; connect with family and friends; and be more independent. They do this by providing no-cost, refurbished adaptive mobility and communication equipment; educating pediatric clinicians, teachers, and caregivers; and promoting responsive and responsible public health policy.
