C.A.T.S. is excited to announce that our Hampton Roads office will be moving soon into a new location that can better help us serve our clients. Due to this, Hampton Roads will not be able to accept donated equipment until the move is complete which will be around mid-March 2022.
100+ Women Who Care Smith Mountain Lake recently visited C.A.T.S. in Moneta to tour the facility and provide a check for nearly $15,000 to support our mission. We are very thankful for their support!
This cookbook has been created and designed by the friends of C.A.T.S. and supported by community sponsors. Cookbook sales will help sustain C.A.T.S.’ ability to provide refurbished adaptive equipment and assistive technology to children throughout Virginia that need it at no cost. There are 265 recipes included. Cookbooks make great holiday gifts!

C.A.T.S. will be featured on an upcoming episode of the PBS program Buzz4Good. Episode airs Sept 22 on Blue Ridge PBS & TBD on VPM.
Join us in thanking our 2021 Hallowheels sponsors! These wonderful companies and individuals have provided the funding to cover the cost of framing materials for a family to create a costume incorporating their child’s wheelchair, walker or other adaptive wheeled device. Their donations also helps provide prizes to be awarded to the children and their families.
Smith Mountain Lake Civitan Club has made a $20,455.00 donation to CATS for the purpose of providing a Hub Scrub to the location serving the Roanoke Valley in Moneta. The Hub Scrub will greatly assist the work of CATS volunteers who clean and disinfect donations of gently used equipment coming from families whose children have outgrown it. The Hub Scrub resembles a giant dishwasher for durable medical equipment, and allows for UV radiation for disinfecting.
