On Thursday, June 21, CATS participated in the Roanoke Valley’s Day of Action, and welcomed five employees of the Eaton Corporation of Roanoke out for an Equipment Scrub.

Hallowheels is rolling back into the Roanoke area in October 2018. Teams of college students create custom costumes for 6 children incorporating their wheelchairs into the design. We are currently looking for participants for this exciting event!

We are pleased to announce that CATS has received additional $2500 from The Joey Pizzano Memorial Fund in Alexandria Virginia, explicitly for our GoBabyGo Initiative.

Roanoke Valley Gives Day is coming up March 14th! CATS is just one of more than 150 nonprofits in SW Virginia who are participating in this 24-hour online giving event sponsored by the Foundation for Roanoke Valley.
Last year this was our most successful fund raising event ever, earning nearly $11K. This year, we are asking our supporters to pitch in and do it again! Our goal is our Plan for a Van and $20K. All donors who give $100 or more will receive a T shirt: The plan for a van . . . I delivered so CATS can!
Because of generous funding from The Joey Pizzano Memorial Fund of Alexandria, Virginia for 2018, the Communication Loan Library (formerly the AAC Loan Closet) in Roanoke will be expanded
