CATS celebrates 5 years!

Children’s Assistive Technology Service celebrated its 5th birthday yesterday evening at the home of founder and CEO Cathie Cummins and her husband Randy. In attendance were members of the Smith Mountain Lake community (Lions Club, Antique Boat Club, Civitans, neighbors, and friends) who have provided financial baking along with volunteers who repair, promote, transport, and deliver equipment to children across Virginia.

Hallowheels 2019-Call for Participants!

Hallowheels has become CATS annual FUNdraiser, and will be expanded this year. With the help of Bennett’s Village in Charlottesville, and Attendants4You LLC in Richmond, the event will be conducted simultaneously in four locations: Roanoke, Lynchburg, Charlottesville and Richmond. Children who depend on wheelchairs for mobility, between the ages of 4 and 16 years, are now being recruited to participate, on a first come first serve basis.

RVGives Day Wrap-Up

Thank yous have gone out, and commemorative tee shirts for the big event are in the mail!
